THANKS so much to all who participated in the Rally on Saturday. It was a BIG SUCCESS! The crowd was large and enthusiastic (and HUNGRY!)
The band was fantastic. Mark Sandlin and the Beatles Revisited played Classic Hits we all know and love. Mark and I are the two luckiest men alive. Our lovely wives Karla (me) and Donna (Mark) spearheaded organizing the Rally and pulled it off wonderfully. Many others helped as well.
I enjoyed speaking to folks personally, and then publicly during my talks between band breaks. The Q&A was great as too. The band was so good people probably hoped I would make it quick and get back to the music! I tried not to be too long-winded. I shared my vision for Florence and our citizens. Many, many signs, tee-shirts, buttons, and LOVE went out.
It motivated me to Keep on Truckin’! The encouragement of the people inspires me, and by God’s grace, we can and will achieve great things. Let’s keep the momentum going strong!
